My ugly setup. Can't seem to lanesplit at all.
I wish I had a top box, I wouldn't have lost my jacket liners today if I had one
Maybe it's the fisheye lens, but that is just ridiculous. Might as well get a car haha.
Just too damn handy for $140!!! Rain gear, cover, spare helmet fits in one side. Tire tools, small compressor, extra fluids and most of my helmet in the other side with room for my jacket and bibs in the middle!!!
The first time a KLR could wheelie.
1. I don't think the bike looks too bad with all the cases and the soft bag. You tell me.
2. Top case on table
3. Magic !
Thats just sold me on the complete unit.
That thing is so wide, so do you need a police escort or pilot cars?
Some of them are huge.
I need the Wide Load permit!!!
I put a 55 liter GIVI Maxia on a Honda Forza 300. The 55 litre looked really wide in the store beside the smaller cases.
The Honda has a really wide seat and I wondered which fat ass would need such a wide seat. Then I looked in the mirror. I fit nicely and so does the wide case.
I can post a pic of my Duc M696... came with a Givi Maxxia 52L on pillion. Very nearly rode straight to MotoCorsa, just because I wanted to see Arun's head explode.
I would find it hard to lane split on anything wider in back than my bars.
Dark Helmet's (Space Balls / Rick Moranes) ninja?

[/QUOTE] that's not a top case that's a sleeper cab . best bar hopper ever when you get too drunk to ride home just climb in and crash out and if you pull a thirsty moma you can push her up into it and get it on . I bet its got a tv electric kettle the lot in there .
I ride a Guzzi Stelvio, I could lane split towing a caravan based on this criteria
That is why I don't even use my side bags unless I have to, they are 2" wider on each side on a bike that is already pretty wide......I use the top box as a bitch bar, but that is about it.
Agreed. My preferred setup for travel is my stupid large top box with a duffel bag over the pillion seat.
I don't like large side boxes unless I'm on multiweek trips where they become a necessary evil...
Are the bars on a Stelvio wider than those on a GSA? Not sure what you mean. Typical trailer is at least 5 ft wide, and pretty sure your Stelvio bars are 4 ft or less.
GSA is ok to split on. In fact, it gets my mirrors over car mirrors.
I can put my mirrors within an inch or less of obstructions, but for me personally, no way ?I could do that with panniers or anything behind me.
I think the engine is the issue!
