It seems every time I visit, it just makes the need to go back more intense. And going into some of these places, especially alone, changes you. I can’t describe it. But if you’ve been there you know.

Here’s something I tripped across while obsessing about my trip (hopefully) this summer. Beautiful.

Unforgettable. Thanks for posting this and sparking some wonderful memories of the ride and the three other gents I had the pleasure of sharing it with...I'd go back in a heartbeat...PD

    Fantastic video!

But only the few seconds of footage before the black bear is pawing at the window is what I recall the vast majority of the T-T experience to be.

Well, the overnight stop at the Mirage Outfitters and the fishing along the way was pretty spectacular!

Ho. Lee. Crap. I'm stunned and amazed and proud. I realize this video is a bit old, but that is one serious ADV ride.

It's the remoteness. Where else can you ride and be 745 kms from the nearest town? Definitely nowhere in the US. I would guess only Russia can compare. I've never been there but they probably have some really remote roads too.

:imaposerI'm 64 years old, fat, US citizen, don't like the cold and am sane, so...... no, it's not me!

But I kind of wish it were....

He's got a lot of other good videos filmed in your wonderful country: https://www.youtube.com/user/Bwokentoof/videos

Well thanks, my sense of adventure is there, but it ends when the temp. hits 0! Unlike Bwokentoof, I do not relish losing my fingers and toes.

That's an amazing video! Which dam/dyke is that near the end?

It’s not my video, but I’m pretty sure the dam/dyke is the main one blocking off the Caniapiscau River, forming the Caniapiscau Reservoir. The scale of the earthworks out there is impressive.

The whole country (outside of the cities) is a "hidden spot that no one knows about", I love it.
