Nothing better on a below freezing day than Hot Buttered Rum....

Especially after going for a ride in the freezing weather, and returning home only to realize you can not feel your feet anymore... :)

looks like the unauthorized place for target practice... I guess red is the preferred color for shotgun shells..

I was able to get permission to cross private land and rode up to the bank of the Arkansas River.

This makes my fingers and toes hurt just thinking about it. My poor bike's sitting out there begging me to get on the road, but my sense of self preservation can't see that ending well for the old extremities.

Although I haven't taken it all the way to the river, I think I've been on that road!

I couldn't stop at the target practice place because there were people there staring at me as I crept by....

Thanks for sharing. You may have sprung loose a little inspiration to ride, but it's looking even colder next week!

When I go to the south side of town, I use that cut off road. You can tell it is deer season LOL.

Yeah, a bit cool for me too. I hate cold toes and fingers.....

You are one tough dude. :eek1

No electric gear on the 650.. yet.... Will be adding some grip heaters this week... And the switch on my vest needs the contacts cleaned, as it wouldn't work on that ride..

Best thing about winter riding is no bugs, and ticks. :)

Adub, that looks like the same road... Easterwood Point, I believe is the name of it.

Hoping this snow we are getting, gets deeper so I can go for another ride in search of nature photos.

I've got an inch or so on the ground and it's still falling. I was just thinking about a short ride on the L with the camera. I bet Ross has some beautiful scenery right now.
I'll turn the coffee pot on before I leave.

The area by the artesian well should be scenic in the snow.

    Are you employed again?

Nope. Work says they will call some of us back in a month. I'd rather find something else.

The red shells are for a 12 gauge shot gun, the most popular. When it's this cold I stay home and punch the clown....:wave
