Harley can no longer sell bikes. NSHTA is forcing Ducati to recall bikes for vibrating mirrors. Can Harley be far behind?

    What will they do.

The rubber mount touring models are ok except at idle. But sportsters, and solid mount bikes are screwed.

Hopefully they just start selling Livewires. No vibes, no pipes, no brotherhood.

FFS - a Ducati recall turns into a Harley bash thread.
There is an internet rule about porn (if you think of it, someone has made porn about it). Perhaps there should be a similar rule - if you think of it, someone has turned it into a Harley Bash thread ,. . . . .

"Harley can no longer sell bikes."

    Says who?

Ducati is having a silly recall forced on them and you're wondering if Harley will experience the same, yet you come right out and say Harley isn't allowed to sell bikes anymore? Just making stuff up as you go along, or what?

If vibrating mirrors are a problem then 75% if the bikes out there are in trouble.

    Stupid recall. Ridiculous thread.

I test rode a solid mount 2018 Softail a few months back and zero vibration, from idle to redline. Loved it.

It's not a problem on my 2001 solid mount either.

So what happened after you pulled out of your driveway?

    :hide

    I KEED I KEED!

Seriously the 2018 Softails have me lusting. There are a couple I'd like in my garage right now, but I can't spend that kind of money on a motorcycle.

What's this about Ducati? First I've heard of any recall...

Just got notified our work bikes are due for a recall, assuming it’s this one.

Hopefully they wont be down long.

Crazy that it's a mirror that gets a recall and not flaking rocker arms...

I wish they would recall my Goldwing. I fill it up with gas and within a couple of days, it’s empty again!

There will be a new line of vibrators, and they're targeting your mother as their demographic

Yes, my comment is as stupid as this thread.

Oh for F's sake there's nothing sadder than a self-burn from being so stupid you don't even know what you're making fun of.

lol. The mirror on my Shovel did not vibrate, although it did spin around sometimes. It was not a stock mirror, however, so it probably doesn't count. I think that I just ended up taking it off.
