This was the extent of my off-roading today.
60s and sunny? We rode! @Mugwest
Tried out some lower pegs and they really helped out standing on the DR.
Thoughts on StinkEye: we all get it in the woods, eternal stuff. Today we passed the same group of locals we passed last Sunday in the same place (F73 & F69 in BW). Same look of abject HATE. We sure as hell weren't hooning, Steve prolly went through @ 10mph. I slowed when i sawr the van had a wheelchair lift and an old guy in camo was inside the van in his wheelchair at an awkward angle.
The younger camo guys outside the van just glared enemy loathing.
E pluribus unum!
I passed a few today myself. Got a bit of a look from one or two, but I was right along the permitted of Bradwell Bay, so I think (but I’m not positive) it’s off limits to hunters. Funny thing is that that area see so little routine traffic the roads look mowed. Maybe I hacked them off. Maybe I interrupted cousin lovin’ ( I wish I could quit you) who knows, but I’m not wasting this weather.
It’s public land and we are on well traveled fire roads. Can’t please everyone right
Got away from the chores for a late afternoon ride today. The semi-cool temps are finally starting. It was glorious.
The old stink eye. I've seen it before. Not a pretty sight.
Goober StinkEye, meet You Fucking Got Something To Say About My Printz Barney Bike I Didn't Think So

Hi Rez links? Those pics are fantastic.
Thanks a bunch.
Sure, here are the links.
Where I took that pic last week there was a group of guys today doing hunt camp prep- it’s right around the corner from where I broke my clav. These guys had a monster stack of firewood, were BS’ing and most waved today as I went by. I’d planned to stop for water/snack/smoke, but just passed on by. Yokel group two were not as hospitable to a lone rider passing through. I got the feeling I wasn’t the bright sunny portion of their day. Saw several deer. No hogs.
Theres a place in town where you can see a few hogs and get a bucket of beer.
I don't know why the hunters don't like us riding out there, at least we wake the deer up and get them moving.
Last time Mr. Sanjoh and I were in the Big Bend area, we got stink eye from a whole family in camo (down to the infant) and as we passed their truck a nice looking buck ran right behind the hunter's back.
We still get a good chuckle out of that one.
Opening day at the farm yesterday. The not hot weather is here and that signals the start of the jumpy jumpy season.
To get the bike ready for MX I pulled the rear rack, 3 pound headlight, kickstand and ran minimal fuel. That Cheater tire was great in CO, it's just not designed for such a sandy environment. I'll replace it was a MX33 before the next sesh.
This is my 3rd season and evolved to the point of clearing all but the 90 footer. It's still hard on the machine and not my bag baby but helmet time is helmet time!
I'll chop up the footage and get a vid this week!
and those fork gaiters kick ass! Makes you look like a distinguished gentleman...
someone has a lot of coins laying around for those 2 factory editions katooms...only know this since I bought the "other side of the building" factory edition on saturday.
