And besides motos, the common bond is fine craft suds. We're all regulars at the Ormond Brewing Co and follow up a day at the farm with a brewery debrief!
^ I don't see bacon...
Yeah, where's the fuckin' bacon?
This is the work I have performed on my 690 over the last few weeks. Replaced the air filter , changed the oil , had the shock body replaced as it was leaking , installed the stock springs , replaced the fork oil , serviced the shock linkage , installed new tires , balanced them and installed a BRG rubber mounted handle bar system . Also installed new front brake pads as I use the front brake 90% of the time and lubed and adjusted the chain . I need to go on a test ride in the next few days before I take off on the Georgia ride . I hope I was paying attention and have no issues .
cleanest part of the bike!
Took all the shit out of my Kili Air, soaked it overnight in some Shout, then ran a couple cycles in the washer with some Tech Wash, with the liner hung them to dry. I think that jacket is actually red in some spots now.
'bout time I'd say..... ....
Washed and spiffed up my little '71 Honda SL125 in preparation for Saturday's Gobbler Adventure Ride from Mt. Dora!
Nice bike !!
Thanks. It has gone through half a dozen different iterations over the years.
Here's a photo I call "Time Passages". Top half is from about Jan 1996, with two of my boys and I going out for a ride in the woods. Bottom half is from mid-2010. I might have to get 'em back again and take another pic. Younger boy is in Seattle, older boy is in Seoul, South Korea. 'Boys' - heh. 28 and 26 nowadays...
I just want to keep something for that long and not screw with it!
By the way.... LED’s inbound for the KDX
thanks @sanjoh for the help in figuring out what I need
I think the piston and rings are still healthy too
Warmed it up, to change the coolant. Figured while I was taking it back apart I’d throw the old snap on tester on it.
I built this engine in May 2012....
Russ is in Seattle or Seoul?
Still has compression even after a thorough flogging at the hands of @Scribe, eh?
Finally dug in and discovered why my Denali horn wasn't working. Got a support case opened with Revzilla. Hopefully they will replace my CANSmart unit.
I think @ineptizoid has run more gas through this bike than I have
I keep tellin' him to send it back west for a reflogging, but he just mumbles something about needing to put another tank through it.
One day I’ll put that tank through it too. Mark my words
