Glad you’re better Jerry!
Thanks for the tip on how to get rid of dog shit in the yard!
Thanks, I think. Dog shit?
At least I thought it was you that told me......
Pouring bacon grease on the dog shit in my yard makes it disappear overnight.
Wasn't me, I read that somewhere too.
Wasting bacon grease
@DaveBeezy and I found every hunter in Ocala today
Changed the trans oil in the KDX. Hope to get out tomorrow for a run through the woods
Spent about 600 miles on I75 this holiday
More MX yesterday. Braaaap!
Here's some grabs from the GP. I'll chop up some vid this afternoon.
Rolling back to the barn like...…...
Honestly I get kind of board just going round and round. I do enjoy the challenge of a new discipline but need my share of gooning it up!
Where is the dislike button?
And here's 4 min of me clearly enjoying the much needed helmet time!
You're have way too much fun there!
Thanks, sound like I have turrets! It's been an interesting experience and I'm no longer the slowest at The Farm. I do wish the fast guys would slow down a little cause the vid following a rider is always neat to watch.
I coach people for a living and teach a specific sport so I'm always intrigued by technique and have applied that quest for technical knowledge to this new discipline of riding. Sundays point of focus was maintaining momentum and applying consistent throttle on the upside of the jumps. Pretty much get on the gas as you land and roll up the face with a consistent application of go go juice. In the past I was ham handing it too much and relying on the power of the 500 to really launch me off the jumps - always gassing it too late. This technique helps make the ride smoother and feels like less work on the motor.
It is all about flow and being smooth, which results in being faster. Same applies in mountain biking as it isn't all about having power.
Once you're confident in your skills too, your speed will go up as well.
Slow is smooth, smooth is fast!
Cleaned up the 300 and put some more oil in the tank. Have to change the gear oil, before the next ride.
Sold a house, and deposited a check. I think I’ll call it quits for the afternoon
