Back in college, I had an '82 XL500R. Years later, I had an '86 XT600. This is the first big (300+ cc) thumper since then! Riding tomorrow!!

If thats the stock rear shock, be aware that there's near zero rebound damping at as-delivered setting. That cost me a clavicle on my 1st DR ride.

Take it EASY on first dirt runs :nod

Thanks for the heads-up! I'm sure it's the stock shock, but no idea if it's the "stock" setting or if one of the POs ever tweaked it.

Tire party on Saturday morning at Castle Cole.

That's a Battlecross 30. I run tubes in FL but for the hard stuff this tire fits my pool noodle perfect! I'd consider it an "medium fatty".

Fronts are much easier than rears for some reason, quick work with the cheater machine!

And I made a new number plate out of a case of craft suds. This is the third gen and received the $2.00 lamination treatment from Office Depo :norton

The old one is memorialized on the wall of the brewery! :rilla

And you know it had to include some bacon! :super

I have said it before, but everything is good when bacon is involved... :dukegirl :D

Kreiga OS bags finally arrived (so much for two day delivery...). Still have to remove the seat and adjust the straps.
    Kreigas.jpg

The OS-32 bag came with the locking bale installed upside down. I'll contact then and let them know about quality control.

Hadn't been on the WRR in a few weeks. Got out for a little exploration in the Redlands and the Everglades with @viclan yesterday.
