I was just starting to dig riding around on dry streets. Oh well. I'm new here. Seems like a great forum. I'm scooter only at this point(CB750's stuck in WA), but I definately go adventure with it. Like this great ride up Potter Valley:

Potter Valley is not in the Chugach, so riding rules are lax.

Any other scooter enthusiasts out there?

Welcome, I had an 07 Ruckus here in Kodiak for 2 years and like an idiot I sold it. :cry I had schwalbe studded snow tires on it and rode it every day no matter the weather. The guy I sold it to sold it on 2 months after he bought it so I have no chance of getting another without paying ridiculous island prices. I got mine shipped from Delta Jct on a DC6 for less than new ones sell for here.

Cool Ride Colininkodiak. Today I was browsing all the pics over at totalruckus.com trying to decide if I could ever stand to own one. I don't think so, unless I could do a lot of trail riding. They look kinda fun for that. I'll have to go get a pic of my homemade studded tires and post it up. They work great(and shoot sparks too). I actually spend most my "forum time" on hondaspree.net. Good group of people there.

And thanks for the kind words AKtroy! See ya around. Introduce yourself next time>
