In Lisbon again and they're EVERYWHERE.
I have had one as a courtesy bike..
Rent one for a month, answer you own question...
I ride 2028 te300i 2018 1290 sar and race superbikes I build...
I have one at home, feeling neglected in the garage. But if I had gear and were staying longer....
I love em
Petrol is really expensive, up to 1.60 Euro a litre, more expensive than Spain. Fuel economy is a big selling point. Lots of people have bikes as their only form of transport, extremely reliable and cheap to run with enough power to do the job is more important than bragging rights at a bike meet or adrenaline from the top end rush of a 100hp bike. Look on OLX (Portuguese Ebay) and lots of NCs with 60/70k km plus for sale.
Great bike. I love mine (a NC700X).
I can commute to work for two weeks on 3 gallons of gas @75 mpg.
I get better mpg in the city commute than on the freeway. Kinda like a Prius. Lol.
The storage in the fake tank (frunk) is awesome for commuting.
It’s a top selling bike in Europe. Not so much in North America.
Cheap bike, top reliability (technical base it's half engine of a 1400 cc petrol engine from the Honda Jazz car), very low consumption - a rational bike (above all).
For daily commute, it's as good as it gets without spending much money.
Personally, don't like it.
