    Hi all,

I picked up a rather nice 950 Adv recently, and it came with this odd looking bracket mounted on the dash. I've no idea what it is or what it's for, but it's probably for sale if anyone wants it, because I don't need it! :)

Its a KTM Hard Parts accessory mount typically used for a GPS unit or any other device...
I currently use it with a Hondo Garage 'Perfect Squeeze' phone mount...

You'll never use it mouse and I feel the best thing to do is to geographically relocate it to West Lothian.

If you wanna sell it, I'm interested. They're near impossible to find nowadays (been searching for one for months, if not longer)

EDIT: ah, I think mountaincadre called it before me. Sorry.

Sorry for the delay, finally got around to taking the bracket off the bike. Lilyoda, do you want it? I tried to send you a message but for some reason the site won't let me. If you can, send me a PM :)

    Heya
Been reading up on it, and turns out the dash changed shape around 2009. I have the new dash.
Touratech made two versions, one for the old dash (reference 01-040-0662), one for the new (reference 01-040-0659).
Wasn't sure that this one would fit, since the cushion pads are positionned differently between the two versions, and I couldn't find any info.
So I made my own system last week, using RAM mounts.

Sorry mate. But I'm sure it'll sell easily, either here on on eBay.

No worries, I think you're right, it doesn't look like the bracket I have would fit that dash.

    I put a 950 old style on my 2010 990R. Fiddly.
It's been there several years now.

Good info. I see that you used the cushion on one side only, to compensate for the dash shape.
It's too late for me, since I made my own, but that means others having a >2008 can also go for it.

The little cushion only just barely touches. If I were hanging a big GPS on there in place of the iPhone, I'd mess with the mount to get it structure under the plastic. I don't have those bits in there. It is plenty solid for my phone at old-man speeds. :gerg
