Hi Guys..bike back from the mechanic about a week. I see this Connector hanging loose ? Any ideas what it is ? Bike has had SAS removal and epc, so I am not sure if it was always hanging free or should be connected.

Could possibly be left over from epc. Would be great if anyone could confirm.

    Thanks ;)

Looks like the electrical plug for the SAS system, should be 2, Right hand side one sits right at the front just below the headstock and the rear is on the left hand side beside the cubby hole., its not a biggie it's your bike telling you to remove the excess from the bike.:)

There is only one electrical connector for the SAS system and it's not that far forward, its at the rear of the engine

if one wire is orange and the other is red/green, its for the EPC 1. According to the wire diagrahm. If you look on the left side behind you airbox you should see the connection for EPC 2.

I haven't seen that type of plug that looks like that on my 990... it could be one installed by a previous owner that maybe went to an auxiliary radiator fan?
If you're able, trace it back to its origin....

That's what I was thinking as well. Some sort of aftermarket plug.

Clint's right, I'm associating it with sas as I removed all of it together when I did the blanking plates, me bad.

Sorry referring to my earlier post regarding the plug was from the SAS system, when I put the blanking plates on these where unplugged at the same time.
