I was given a non running one and dissembled it, unfortunately, I let it go during Paramedic school and never got to ride it. Now I've lost touch with the guy that I sold it to. God willing, I'll get to ride one someday.

Why all the asterisks in the title? Attention whoring or something else?

Why post in a thread and not address the thread topic? Attention whoring or something else?

    Id love to try:

XSR700 -a lightweight and peppy modern naked that at least tries to look like bikes are supposed to

R3 -because I enjoy light bikes that can be wound out, and I haven’t ridden enough faired bikes to definitively say they’re not for me, yet.

Street Triple -the ugly older cousin of the XSR?

Road King - the only Harley that doesn’t look like it’s petitioning for gang membership

Guzzi Eldorado Loopframe -they look like nothing else on the road, sound like few others, and are said to have character in spades.

Guzzi Norge - seems like a very underrated sport tourer.

BMW R75 and R90 -I wanna try em both for an extended period. Something tells me I want one. But something also tells me I don’t.

Vespa PX200 -move to Mexico for the sake of an Italian girl who seems like she’d be a lot of fun?

A 600 supersport. Don’t think it’s for me but you never know till you try, right?

I'd much like to try one of these.

IMG_0330.PNG I sat on one of these a couple of years ago, it'd make a great summer bike.

Stone stock FXR, to ride, not to own.

I was lucky enough to get to ride four of my bucket list bikes in the past two years.

    A very well preserved RZ500:
    IMG_1272.JPG

A very nice custom framed TZ350- faster than hell and super hard to keep on the boil. Below 8K, nothing. Over 8K, all of it.
    fullsizeoutput_966.jpeg

And the alpha predator two stroke! A TZ750. at the pace i was willing to ride it it was pleasant and tractable, and showed no bad habits. But that's at a paltry 7/10ths pace. You can't really try on someone else's pride and joy....
    fullsizeoutput_73d.jpeg

And the most flattering to be allowed to ride- a 1950 Rapide.

I have two bikes I'd like to own again (and not completely fuck up this time around!): GS1100s and Katana 1100

I already own a nice example of my first ever bike, a DT250. Mine's not as nice as the photo, and needs some lovin' to get running again.

Here's where the going gets weird. I like building shit. Some of you may have seen my DirtBag Challenge bike. My bucket list includes a couple of builds, and probably more to come when the cray cray strikes.

Someday build #1 ... I like adventure bikes, but they're not really all that dirt-friendly. I basically want to build a modern version of an unlimited Dakar bike. With AWD. And a Hossack front end. Like what Marty Lawson built. Except with a 140-ish HP TL1000R V-Twin motor. With a set of sportbike wheels, it would be mental, like an SXV550 with a personality disorder. (For the record, I own an SXV, and understand what that benchmark actually means.)

Someday build #2... I've had this idea for a zillion years, and have been slowly ramping up my machinist skills to achieve it. I want to build a 2-stroke V-twin. Using a pair of CR500 jugs. Yep. Madness. Friends have suggested that I just buy a hopped up Banshee motor, or a purpose-built sidecar motor (the MFG escapes me right now, Kreidler maybe?)... but, this is MY idea, and it's what I want to build.

I could envision going to Bonneville someday and totally getting hooked on top speed racing. Pray for me.

Great selection, a v smoker would be insane, I have rebuilt a few banshees, but a cr v1000 verges on insanity, I like the way you think :-)

1st generation Vmax, basically a '60s musclecar in motorcycle form... all engine, no brakes or chassis.

Oh, thanks for the reminder: I'd like to build an Aprilia RSV1000 powered Britten tribute bike.

John Britten is my personal hero.

I figure, aside from certain antiques and exotics, I could probably figure out how to afford most any bike if I wanted it badly enough. So I guess my bucket list wish would be for the talent to match.
