    Sure, blame it on me.
Update: 5000 kms or so later, its holding up just fine. No electroshock therapy thru the feet, or melted aluminum from the spark jumping to the piston, hasn't missed a beat. Its not starting as quick as when I first put it in, but that may be needing a valve or jetting adjustment after a year of abuse. I see they are being used in sportbikes now, with the stunters making grandiose claims. It works and it feels different than the regular plug, so something is happening. Try one, you may like it. The insulator is slighty larger than an NGK, so it takes a hard shove to get it on, but its watertight! No water crossing stallouts this year.

Okay Creepy, or ?, why is it that my 625 starts better with the old regular plain Jane plug over the fancy iridium spark plug? I installed a brand new DCPR8EIX and as a result my bike became a 3 or more kick starter where with the old plug that's been in the bike for the last 4years is a 1kick starter hot or cold.

Creeper is no longer an inmate. He was released into a halfway house years ago. Some work release program.

I couldn't say why the Iridium isn't working as well for ya. Maybe that one's a dud? Is it gapped correctly?
