Is there anyone in the Anchorage, valley area that can straighten my XR650L front wheel?
Bad? I bent the front rim on a KTM 950 and straightened it out w/ a little heat and a rubber mallet. If you opt to try this I would recommend very VERY little heat. Heat softens the rim and then anneals it so the rim would be easier to bend on future hits if you botch that part.
I think its more warped. I sent the other set to Woody's Wheel Works. Unfortunately he's in Colorado and if I sent it to him I think most of the riding season will be over. So I may just mount the tire on my straight front wheel.
You got any pics of the 650? OR you could ride it out to Palmer And we could go for a spin up Hatcher Pass
not a lot I can do for you if its bent, but if it needs to be straightened to get rid of the hop or wobble that's different. I haven't done one in awhile, but I'd be glad to help you out.
