there will most definitely be a ride report afterward....learned a lot from our trip this summer...things to shoot, video mount positions....what we would want to see as well what we want to share...hopefully this will me a more creative ride report full of stories and pics to share what we will see....we are both stoked to do this together. I am also a total wild life freak!:clap

Heading for Mexico on December 2. Will be crossing the border at Douglas, AZ/Agua Prieta, Mexico on December 4. I'll head down to Creel, then the Copper Canyon. I plan to ride from Batopilas to Choix and out to Los Mochis. Then down the coast to Mazatlan, up the Devil's Backbone to Durango, over to Real de Catorce, and the rest is unplanned.

As soon as I am a grandpa for the first time, in mid-January, I'll be going to Mexico/Guatemala again for the winter/April. I'm starting to get ready by ordering tires, new grips, etc. and doing normal trip maintenance. It was a horrible winter here last year, and I can't abide another.

Just a short weekend trip from SJ to Lake Tahoe 2 up. Haven't been to Tahoe for about 20 years and never in the summer so just looking forward to some beautiful scenery and nice roads.
Will also be the first test run with our new Happy Trails Denali Panniers on the 990 Adventure R so although they won't be that full still happy to get a feel for how they hold up and how they change the handling of the bike.

    Cheers,
    J.King

Next planned trip is over Labor Day weekend (Sept 2-5). I'll ride up to Denver from Albuquerque on Friday and meet up with my buddy. On Saturday, we'll ride down to Gunnison, CO and camp near there. Sunday we'll do a little bit of touring through some of the national forests and hopefully hit some twisties and see some cool scenery. Then on Monday we'll head west to Colorado National Monument and tour through there, then head back to Denver. Tuesday I'll get up early and make my journey back down to Albuquerque.

It should be a fun trip with a couple nights of camping thrown in.

Myself and three others are doing a 1000 mile dual sport around the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in 4 days around Labor Day weekend.

There will be a XT225, WR450, and an Aprilia RXV550, and myself on a YZ426.

We are running an abbreviated version of the UPAT http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=627424&highlight=upat put together by Cannonshot.

I'm planning a 2 month trip from San Francisco to Panama, starting on thanksgiving weekend and finishing up mid to late January.
If I can swing a week off work in the next few weeks, I'll try and take a trip to Winnapeg Canada to help my buddy with his harvest.
