Ok I admit it, I'm a noob, but really, if I don't ask the stupid questions, who will?

Is Texas a centra, southern, rockies, or west regional type state to the post police on this forum?

    Thanks

That's what I though, but I found mentions in other areas. I'll now concentrate my considerable intellect and effort towards the Central Zone

California is asking where Texas belongs?

Does anyone else think that sounds like a setup to a bad joke?

I thought it had something to do with which side you were on during the Civil War (South?).

Hey there neighbor! Welcome aboard and welcome to Texas.....

Scott here just a few miles up the road in Denton. Lots of diff places to ride around here.

Usually in the first 2-3 pages of this forum is a continuing post called something like, Texas riders check in here.

Hope you plan on sticking around!

Now that you mention it, it begs a punch line. But being a noob to Texas, since September, I had to ask.

California is a nickname a Texas hottie gave me so I've adopted it. Ca. was my home, and only home, for 56 years, but as soon as I woke up, I headed for The Republic of Texas.

My mom, sister, bro in law, neice, nephew, son, d in law, three grandsons all live here, and my older sis is in Missippi, so I'm here because, "home is where the heart is".

Everybody wants to be a Texan. California Cowboys are neither. Stay put, we have become way too crowded with outsiders. Keep Texas-Texan...

Well if you're asking where does both Texas and California(the state not the poster) have their place. You have a couple of schools of thought.

Why hasn't California fallin into the ocean yet? Well the fault line hasn't really let go I guess.

Why hasn't TX fallen into the ocean yet? Because Oklahoma sucks so hard.

So there you have it. :hide

Texas has the Red River riding area where they have what is often the best Enduro in the Blackjack series, two great Harescramble series, and Red River also has Last Man Standing, the toughest, coolest, most bad-ass-est off road race in North America, and it is definately the toughest single day race in the world.

I hate to admit it, but I think I'm gonna have to stop making Texas jokes.

The joke is on you, we are the lucky ones who call Texas home. No place like it on this planet. Texas stands for something, just ask me.....

I’ve been to Texas two times so far and I don’t get the hype. I did find it strange that at a parade in San Antonio (if memory serves) there was not a US flag to be found but the confederate flag led the parade?!? I’m not sure some Texans believe the Civil War is over. O well one more Yank you don’t have to worry about taking over your “home”.

    Flame on!!
