I've heard of it but have no idea where IT IS. Id like to spend a few days riding there at the end of my trip before slabbing back I 10 to fla. do I need to find a campground there or is pulling over and sleeping an option?

Anywhere near Kerrville on I10 , mostly south but really good riding north too on lots of small paved county roads .

Google Three Sisters TX. It's southwest of Austin. This is NOT the only "Hill Country" area but it's regarded as one of the the most fun HC areas for riding. It's a 100+- loop. You can also ride from San Antonio to Medina TX to Fredericksburg to Matble Falls and end in Austin.

If you dont want to go so far West start in Austin towards Bees Cave and explore south.

Think of the area north of U.S. 90 between San Antonio and Del Rio, and west of I-35 between San Antonio through Austin; bounded by Del Rio and Junction.

Texas Hill Country is loosely defined. Most of us consider anything west of Austin for about 100 miles, and northwest about the same. Kerrville Texas is right about in the middle of it and has excellent Motorcycle roads in ALL directions, especially SW of there. Enjoy TEXAS. It truly is like a whole other country...

Checkout the Lonestar Motorcycle Museum. http://www.lonestarmotorcyclemuseum.com/

Just up the road from the museum....Lost Maples State Park. http://tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/lost-maples/fees-facilities/campsites

    Garner State Park. http://tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/garner

Just do some Googling for Hill Country Camping...no camping in the wild. Not much public land in Texas.
Lots of biker-friendly things to do and see in the area. All of this area I listed is SW of Kerrville south of I10.
This is the area of the Three Sisters. Make sure you have good tire tread. These roads are awesome but they will eat tires fast. Nearest bike shops will be in San Antonio or Kerrville.
Keep track of fuel usage. Not a lot of gas stations out there either.

    Enjoy the ride!
