To my defence, this was mainly oil from the rear base cylinder gasket, so I could not do much just by cleaning that...

SORTED, It turned out to be the plug coming from main harness to starter solenoid, I had rewired with new plug but had put 1 of the connectors to wrong port, ive had her started and looks like everything is okay apart from a slight fuel leak from hose,( think ive nipped it up to much and cut into it a tad) just want to say a massive THANK YOU to all the reprobates-you no who you are, opanos ill do a wee vid when its all snug.

Did you manage to ride the bike? Any feedback besides the sound?

I've nae ridden it yet P as my garage is in the city and I can't get an M.O.T ,(safety certificate)till tomorrow, engine feels very smooth and crisp though with zero hesitation on throttle, the fuel leak was just the o-rings in the carbs partially dryed out, the exhaust note is so different than the twin akros ,(they sounded like twin 50 cals) this thing sounds like Satan playing with a 1000cc chainsaw.
