I did search and run through a few pages of threads, and there either isn't one, or I am a complete moron and read right over it :D With that said, I just wanted to introduce myself. I live in the northwest Houston area I just started riding earlier this year. I have been riding with the local Ducati club and have been enjoying the hell out of it, but am having that urge to go on longer trips. That's how I found the forums. Looking forward to meeting some of you, playing in the tag threads, learning about bike maintenance. and hopefully getting a long distance enduro type bike in the next few months or so. And yeah, among other things, I'm a firefighter. Any questions feel free to ask!

And since I'll probably get yelled at by someone if I don't post one, here is a pic of my bike. And don't worry, those bigass orange alien antenna's have been replaced by small clear LED's:

    We just don't bullshit.

    :lol3

There's a few ADVers in the NW Houston/Cypress area.

A bunch in the West/Katy area.

Me, I'm on the NE side. (ADV Siberia)

We'll probably start socializing again when the weather cools off.

'Twas 49.3degF here in the Piney Woods yesterday morning and it's down to 52.0F now, just about perfect socializing weather. Lies, ahhh, errm, ahem, stories told around a bonfire, toddies in hand, are so much better! :D

True, but I have it on a co-worker's authority that Garfey is a good dude and packs whiskey.

    :D

And I typed my first reply before I forced the cold weather down here.
