where to get torx security bits

    Not that I was going to crack to motronic and void the warranty or anything . :evil. . but if "one" was where would "one" get the torx with the hole in the end?

    most computor tool supplier would have them or youcould use a pair of long nose pliers. they work well too

    fucking ass fuckers at Jeep put the whole fuckign car together with torx bits, i was able to find them at Napa and northern tool...

    If you use a diamond point on a dremmel tool, you can modify a standard torx bit to clear the pin on the "secure" fasteners.

    Torx fasteners rock. Pretty much unstrippable, unless you're a dolt. But the fasteners in question on this thread are the "security" type which have a post in the middle of the hole to prevent standard Torx bits from fitting.

    Weird, but that's HD, I guess. I've had nothing but hot steamy pleasure with Torx screws. Especially the itty bitty ones, like the screws that hold the windscreen mounts on the GS.
