I need to get an item similar to this manufactured. The current supplier is no longer available. It is an armrest pad for a wheelchair. It appears to be plastic covered foam, with a plywood base and threaded metal inserts(these specs can be changed). Quantities would be about 500-1000 pieces per year. I would prefer getting them made in the USA, but elsewhere is definitely an option. Even knowing the type of process would help. My background is in metal, this is a different animal.
    Thanks,
    Mac

Shoot me a note if you decide that you need / want to have this done exactly to your preferred size / dimensions / threads etc.

I "am" the Sourcing guy...and can hook you up with the molding source(s) that can produce these to your specs here in the US.

I have no stake in this....but it sounds like you're working on an idea, and I can help point you in the right direction.
