I spoke to Rottweiler about best slip on exhaust options for my 790 S. They have several options and recommended the Arrow RaceTech Aluminum. Their videos are very cool with how each sounds on a 790.

I'm leaning toward the Arrow RaceTech in Black.

Although the SC Project SC1-R sounds amazing as well.

Wings also makes a very nice unit.

I voted stock, for now. I’ll swap mine eventually, but since it’s cosmetic it’s way down my list of priorities.

Currently running the stock system and perfer the quietness in early morning when starting the bike in my neighborhood. If I were to purchase an aftermarket exhaust it would be to shave a few pounds off the bike and hopefully retain a quiet tone. My previous bike was a 2018 SuperDuke with no cat and a titanium "muffler", needless to say it woke the whole block.

My neighbour put a new exhaust on his Mustang. He leaves for work around 3:30 am. I’m about ready to fire bomb his car.

I have always loved the look of the SC Rally Raid can. If I go that route I will wait till I'm ready to PCV/race map. For now it's stock. But damn I hate the big, bulky look of it. It's like having a sporty car, and then putting one of those big mac looking plastic carriers on top, and populating the back seat with baby seats, with a huge 'Baby on Board' sticker on the rear window.

I do like the sound of the SC1-R, but maybe just a touch too much for this bike. (Still like it though. Reminds me of my old CRF450R)

The Rally Raid sounds great as well

I think I may like the sound of the SC1-R better than the Raid though listening to those videos back to back. The SC1-R is a bit phatter. It's the Phat that puts a grin on my face. Even just decat'ing and running stock was enough to leave me pretty happy. No regrets there atoll.

I voted "other" because the Arrow decat with stock muff is the path I took and I am very happy with it. Its different enough from stock that I felt it needed the "other" category. You might want to add a generic "decat" choice to the poll, or even Arrow decat and straight through decat as 2 choices...

Agreed. Build the list out to become more and more inclusive. And maybe while you're at that, place an asterisk next to those model mufflers which are kosher in terms of spark arrestors; meeting the criteria, and those poke tests guys talk about.

EDIT: Who wants to develop a spreadsheet with mufflers/spark arrestor verified/DB killer - removable or not/DB readings/etc etc

I'd have been running stock but for the spark arrester situation. My stock exhaust seemed to like weeping as well...

The wings exhaust with the insert is barely any louder than the stock exhaust. A little "phatter" but not noticeably louder.

Im not disappointed in my sc1-r. I don’t find it obnoxious or that it drones at steady throttle. When you crack the throttle though, it makes the right noise.

The above description is without the db killer insert. With It, it sounds close to stock. So you could put in and or take it out according to riding. If I had to keep it in, I wouldn’t want it.

Posted elsewhere but will repost here :)
Akrapovic with no DB eater plus verex link pipe for a truly 'phat' sound. Not obnoxious, with throttle restraint, little kids, dogs and old ladies aren't made upset!

Putting the Arrow Decat on now but running the stock can, but it is a Rally so it's upgraded already.
If I were buying one Id get the Wings because it's small and looks great.
I would just about trade the Akrapovic for a Wings.

Where is the Sharon Exhaust option?

I have a Rand new one for sale by the way, PM me. It has 10 miles on it.

Had to pull it to retain my center stand, love the center stand.

The wings is sexy cuz it's small!
The other cans are just huge in comparison.

Sound with baffle (and spark arrestor) is pretty cool and more like a base than a snare.
I use it without baffle to have the same, but a bit louder. As I keep the cat, it's not disgusting loud.

Stock with a Leo Vince decat. A little raspy for my taste but not overly loud.
