Based on the feedback seen here, What is the best all around simple GPS for Adventure Bike riders? Something that will allow the breadcrumbs to be dropped and routes to be saved with various waypoints shown?

Just a thought, but maybe Baldy should create a forum for GPS questions such as this.

Nah...nobody would bother to look for it

Remember that pretty much all software companies rely on customers buying the latest version to continue the income stream.

But GPS units from 10 years ago have been pretty much all anyone has needed. What Garmin has done is to try and add bells and whistles to entice customers to upgrade; but along the way, they've inadvertently removed a lot of the functionality that we liked in the older units.

I still use my outdated Garmin 478. I'd sure like an updated version, but only if it did EVERYTHING the 478 does. And none do.

    So I wait

Old School...Garmin 276/376 are easily still the best GPS for motorcycle, ATV, and any other off road endeavors.
