Report the offender or send me a PM if you see it happening. We won't tolerate shit posters here.
I think that the other mods keep a bit of an eye on it too and shut down the trolls.
You're welcome. I've seen @Dukehunt pop in and I know @lentil does as well.
After haveing a good 10days, by mid morning yesterday it wasnt feeling so good at work. Fingers /Pies / mixed comunication.
By the end of the day i was not in a good spot.
Didnt like, didnt stew on it too much and got up to face the music this morning.
Nothing yet but it has been good so far with an ally and we have a direction forward with a proposal. That feels good.
When life gives you Lemons, (try to) make lemonade (may need help with this)
What somebody thinks of you is none of your business. (This is / can be a tough one. If you think something has gone wrong / you have done something wrong, review you process, consider why they think what ever they do about you and try to put steps / measures in place so that they cant think that about you again)
How quickly can someone spiral into depression, after attending a few funerals (3 of them suicides including 2 x fellow Army mates) and now having to sell my fleet of bikes due to a tumor in my spine, I find myself just struggling to do anything. Everything I love is evaporating and the old body is giving up the ghost. I can understand how some people in constant pain, and felling lost, can decide to take an easy way out.
As others have said before me, the first step is talking about it and seeking help, as I have starting the process.
Black Dog certainly has learnt how to bite hard.
A tumour on your spine? Thanks sounds quite scary.
Can it be operated on?
Re: depression, I think situational depression like the loss of your mates is near instant in its bite. The other may take a bit more time to sink it. Shitty either way.
Yes mate, seeing the Nuero Surgeon and Orthopedic Surgeon again on Monday
Best of luck, I hope you get some good news.
I've already had the bad news mate, just finding out when now.
Hey Lofty, my thoughts are with you mate as I’m sure many other’s are too, visualising a speedy resolution and recovery.
Hang in there, mate.
Shit news about your back mate.
And Shit News about your Bikes. You've put a lot of effort in to those babies ..
Keep us updated on your progress
Hey Bob...hang in there mate..
We are thinking of you for a great recovery.
Not good news mate, hang in there and consider all options, I know the feeling of the body letting you down, ever since Uncle Arthritis turned up - I've learning new ways of doing things,
This getting old shit is on the nose too !, I've learnt to listening to what the doctors say and then make my mind up on what to do !
But I've had a lifetime of learning about pain so shouldn't be really lecturing on what to do - I'm still here though and I'm damn sure not going anywhere else !
Anyway Lofty, hang in there and as you said, you've taken the first step and we're here to help with the rest of them
Hi Lofty, not sure what to say, other than thinking of you and your family / friends. Best wishes.
I know that this sounds crap Lofty, but just face each day as it comes regarding your tumor.
A close friend taking his life is what started my serious interest in mental health.
Hay Ewe: A big positive for you is the recognition when you are not feeling right, and being able to put it into order so that you can see a way to get thru the episode.
Stay positive Lofty and all the best mate

Thanks everyone, it's nice to know that there are people that will listen and take the time to spare a thought.
Makes me value my commitment to the Military, and that all those years of defending this country I love was worth the effort.
