One thing about moving yourself, if you can do it - that's fine but if you have collected over the years, you will need to be fairly fit !
Estimated that we will have saved approximately $12-$15K in moving costs, as it is we have spent around $1.5K in storage fees so far
Big push in next fortnight to clear remaining storage !
P.S. = certainly feel a lot better without the mortgage over our heads !!!
    Cheers

Well - only have to move one more container load of XS650 parts from parents shed and we'll be finished moving
first night in the new place tonight - it's been heavy going - body is biggest problem - age maybe
lifting and stacking weights could be the problem - arthritis doesn't help
plenty of "painkillers" tonight should ease the issue - be good to get into landscaping again
big plans afoot for all these sheds - really miss the house we built @ Yass - this house is small but comfortable
OK - heading off to Goulburn for the day - changing address etc - so many things dealing in paperwork
    Cheers

    @baz,
Congratulations on your move, keep going, keep active...
We are currently embarking on a little renovation in stages...
Will be DIY mostly, lucky the missus can work as hard as any man... Demolition of stage one is done... Tradies arnt being cooperative so probably push on ourselves
New bike won in a raffle arrives Monday, not sure what to do with it but the missus is keen...
Regarding age pain inflammation etc, good tucker mild pain killer and just push on is getting me a bit fitter to cope with it a bit better... Nothing like a reno to test the relationship but we seem to have found common earth and still have a sense of humor... Goodluck, btw is your rally on this year... May visit possibly although will be taking oldest stepdaughter (with cancer) for family hols before xmas, see what happens
    Just keep pushing ahead people..

Wondering if you ever recover from Anxiety related issues - no major episodes - just having sleepless nights and can't work out why ?
Possibly too much planning with new orchards / gardens / shed rebuilding etc
Who knows ? Bloody Cowra Council recycle pick up at 0500 - bloody noisy truck even at 100mts distance ! lucky it's only once a fortnight !
Rant over - should grateful for surviving the last 5yrs
    Cheers

Just saw your post now. Everyone's different but any anxiety I had that kept me from sleeping well pretty much disappeared when I stopped drinking. Earplugs block out noises that might wake me up. https://www.amazon.com/Howard-Leight-MAX-1-Uncorded-Earplugs/dp/B0013A0C0Y

Just finished a major overhaul of one of NSW's oldest power generators. Wake up at 3 am every day in a cold sweat and silently screaming thinking of what is in front of me! Anxiety needs to be faced an defeated.
