Snorider, your Alaskan Soujourn was an excellent read. Did you have any mechanical problems other than losing the tailight screws? I had more trouble with my 640 Adventure (sold) on a weekend trip. Sorry for the highjack.

Nope the tailight was about it. I lost the master link clip somewhere, but that was my fault, I installed it poorly. I noticed it in haines before I got on the boat. ?The plate was pressed on tight enough that I just rode it that way long enoug to get to the boat then to get a new clip at a bike shop in bellingham, and borrowed a tool to pull the plate out against it to make sure it wouldn't fall off again.

This may not be the most tricked out, but it's mine. :>)

    So far:

    MT-21's
    Skid Plate
    Centerstand
    IMS Tank
    Corbin Seat
    Moose Handguards
    Garmin GPS V

    Coming soon:

This bike, along with my DL650, seems to meet all my needs for now. Some great looking and functional DR's here, thanks to all for sharing.

EDIT: I found some info off snowriders Alaska report.
    "the whole assembly (p/n 35710-13E10):"
So now that I have that, how much this assembly cost?

I just did some more stuff to the DR yesterday. I replaced the scrunched-up gaiters (forkbrace) with some forkwraps, installed my Dual-Star heated handgrip kit and put a Sylvania Silverstar H4 bulb in. The pic with the headlight shroud on, is the old bulb and the other is the new bulb, note the difference in brightness.

Mayner, great bike! Do you have a pic of your speedo and GPS on the bike? By chance, do you have have a p/n for the Twinair filter and a source?

    thanks!

It's a DR800. Also known as a DR-BIG, along with the DR750. It's the biggest production single that I know of.
