[IMG][/IMG] I started around 48 on an 05 Bonneville. Good starter bike, although maybe a little bit heavy. I'm now on my 2nd Rocket III- They're real pigs, excessive in every way, but I love 'em. In some ways I wish I'd started earlier, having a kind of "2nd life" at my age is pretty cool too.

Rode a roommate's little 125 Honda a lot one summer during my college days back in the 90s, then didn't pick anything up until I was in my late 30s. I bought a PIaggio MP3 (yes, one of those crazy, Italian, 3-wheel contraptions) on a whim when I was 37 as a cheap commuter. Well, not really cheap, per se, but a commuter for sure. I had that for a few months, but the spark from 15 years prior was reignited and I then went to a 2009 Aprilia Mana 850 (yes, one of those crazy, Italian, automatic contraptions). Put 18,000 miles on that and traded it in last year for a new, 2012 BMW R1200RT. I think I'll be keeping the RT for awhile - it's a fantastic bike!
