Took it off, turned it around and put a tube in it. Made it to Deer Lake. Have a tire in Corner Brook. Good to go

Hey all - I'm headed east with a buddy from Ottawa to meet up with another old friend for a 40th birthday road trip around the maritimes. He's coming from Halifax and we're planning to meet in NB somewhere - likely around Edmunston, or a bit to the east of there enroute to Halifax.

To avoid an 8 hour highway drone, I'll be hauling two old airheads down to NB and then we plan to ride from there. I was hoping to find someone in the Edmunston-Fredericton area (hopefully a bit closer to Edmunston) that would be willing to let us stash the car and (small) trailer for a week and a bit. Planned arrival is this Friday evening, and likely departure the following Sunday.

Any NB locals with some spare space that could offer a parking spot?

    Cheers,
    dc

Not sure. Acted like it was starved for fuel. Thought it was a pinched vent like for fuel tank. Seemed to fix when we unplugged vent line but returned

Can hear fuel pump so think it's OK. Dash lights are constant so think electrical ok. Checked air filter, seems ok . Fuel line seems ok
    Gonna pull airbox in am.

Bad gas? No, not the kind from good beans. You just filled up and a few kms down the road it is acting fuel starved. Rare but I have seen it happen. Water in it maybe?
    Clogged fuel filter/injector?

Removed gas line from injector. Pumping gas fine. Removed plug wires and turned over to check injector... Seems fine.

Hey guys - plans changed a bit because of major mechanical issues but we are here on the east coast for a week

At this point looking for somewhere to park a car/small 3-rail bike trailer in/near Moncton from this Monday through the following Sunday.

I'll call the BMW dealer on Monday also to see if they might have a spot but if anyone else has free room that would be great!

    Thanks

Rum Runners Trail from Halifax to Lunenburg

My wife and I are in the Halifax area on holidays. We brought our 250 D/S bikes with us and heard about the Rum Runners trail (old rail line) that runner from Halifax to Lunenburg. Does anyone know if it's legal to ride our bikes on this trail?
We've ridden the paved roads in the area on other trips here but we are looking for some off road (gravel) for a change.
    Thanks for any suggestions.
