Time to perform a little thread necromancy here. Did all the Atlantic Canadian riders go to Alberta or something?

Picked up an R1200GS this spring and in between work and family commitments I've been exploring some gravel roads and no-longer-really-roads this summer. That and burning off rubber commuting back and forth to work. Next few evenings will be spent assembling and packing my camping gear for my first ever Fundy Adventure Rally. Have myself signed up for the beginner and advanced rider training so it should be interesting. Not sure if I'm hardcore or stupid. The line between the two is a thin one. :lol3

ha.. i hear you... i only hope there is riding in the afterlife. The dualsport.ca {Nova Scotia} is active for steady weekend rides {in between the yearly FAR offerings}. A few get posted on NBDSC.ca as well. Looks like you are set up for a bit of navigation .. maybe we'll see you in the Northern Nova Scotia area.. we ride there a lot. :-)

Riding season is fast approaching. Anyone have some Atlantic Canada routes in mind for this season?

Hi 4M ... was hoping to network with you a bit on a valley to Truro zone connector...

Generated a dirt plan to ride Cape Breton highlands this summer... from Causeway to Cape Clear then head over to the ferry... this will join to the Truro to Canso scoped out last summer...

Over on nbdsc.ca we are conjoining trails and GPX files to circumnavigate NB.
Loaded bike friendly and as close to the coast or province border are the two deliverables. Only two counties left to get a contributor for... then small scouting group plans will be made before "the group" rides as a whole.

    safe travels

Nothing booked yet. I'm headed to On in July probably. Was thinking about coming to NS for the South Alton run in May. Missed the registration for La Classique and we still need to come up with something for sometime this summer like QC parts of TCAT mimicking what we did in Gaspe.

NBDRA Spring Kicker - 2019 kicked off this weekend. Great ride with a great group. We broke into 2,3 or more groups...I dunno, but everyone got to ride whatever they preferred. Late in the afternoon a group of us that hadn't had our fill went back out to play for a couple more hours. Arm and hand cramps towards the end of the day signalled that I'd had enough fun lol. Looking forward to more rides and whenever the Hare Scramble series kicks off.

    Welcome aboard...

I have an oil filter for a 2015 Strom that if it fits, you can have. Sold the bike things spring and forget I had it.
