    Hey Folks!

I failed Clairvoyance 101. If you post and expect to be awarded points, you need to include your full name.

Additionally, you still need to see me or another scorekeeper to have your scorebooks stamped.

    Mistress Scorekeeper,
    Her Majesty, Queen of Giants

Impressive. For days now this thread has been a the top of the Riding - Upcoming section. This is the most effective yet obvious stealth marketing campaign I've ever been witnessed to. :1drink

The promotion staff at BMW Motorcycles and really doing well to tend the fire under this event.

The Badwater pond is full, thanks to the rain yesterday.

It can be crossed, at least on a KLR 250... :nod :thumb

Good luck with the bike. That one would do pretty well on the GS Giant course.

Ian and Tracy - superb job with the GS Giant competition! Thanks very much for letting me help out. Glad I brought my callouses! Driving those two 2-foot pipes in the ground with a sledgehammer to hold the buried telephone pole section in place in the uphill face of the "three whoops, advanced line" was the toughest chore but mighty satisfying.

Just a few of the dirty dirt crew...

Dan - thanks for all the water, the BBQ sammich and the marinated maters, onions and cukes. Look forward to riding with you again... the sooner, the better!

RevZilla's got a lot of pics up from the competition: http://www.flickr.com/photos/revzilla/sets/72157627145130787/

Blair, Thank YOU ! And thanks to all the GS Giant's who stepped up to make this event a success! I can't wait to do it again. In the past, I have not attended rallies that were more than a few states away but I will make every effort to see you all in Missouri next year!

The eventual winner went crazy after he was give the keys to the new GS bike decked out in the entire Tourtech catalog.

He jumped on the bike and revved the engine alittle. The crowd went nuts. He then jumped on the bike and headed to the obstacle course with out a helmet or any gear. He went over the bumps and headed towards the mud pit. It was awesome!:clap:clap:clap

I think I heard the announcer say the guy who won, was only riding a GS for 6 months or so but was trained at the Rawhyde school.
