Was on Arcol road today, nice little ride. 506/509 are pretty clean for the faster crowd. Flinton has the usual sand, 41 is under construction south of 7, but not an issue.

Some great riding this weekend. One real difficult river crossing, likely caused by a Beaver Dam explosion. Happily Coolwife, Kahoon and I bailed on the North Pencil Lake route. That and Fire Route 72 were Uboat country and my Pyg doesn't swim to well. Might be ok for the dirty folk at the rally if the rain stays away but hell's bell's it's only frickin May.

Look forward to seeing a bunch of you in a couple of weeks at EOAR.

It's gonna take all week to clean this Pyg,

Here's some GoPro video of one of the rougher spots. Looks like Ron had a little trouble keeping pace with a 690R. We told him he wasn't riding hard enough. The whole day was a roost fest but happily no broken headlights.

I know of a couple of groups headed out from the West. If noobs are looking for someone to travel with you may wish to post up and note your preference (slab/gravel) time allowing. Our route home on Sunday was a mix of fast backroad and gravel. Time was 6 hours with a lunch stop but we didn't have to endure any traffic.

As usual I ran out of beer on the Long Weekend:cry .

Good news is I decided to pick a keg of NickleBrook's Organic Lager:clap . As some know I'm a fan of the Suds, but not a heavy beer guy. Well the choice was good and I've ordered up a Keg that our friend Waterlilly is going to bring to Saturday nights festivities.

I'll meet y'all in the Pub for beer on Friday

You could sell the one on the right to Oohbah-Moto...he'll get another 3000 kms out of it :rofl

Rummaged through the tire rack last night as my front tire was pooched after last weekend. Mounted a TKC that "should" work OK on the front with my almost gone rear 908.

    Trial by fire....

    Looking forward to the weekend!!
