Had a great time at the rally despite the stinking hot weather. Camped with GS Weave and some of local BMW club members from the Burgh.

Ran into Bueller, JBV, waved to Driff and saw lots of ADV stickers.

Watched the GS Giant and was amazed at the talent others have and I lack.

The Paul Thorn Band on Friday night was awesome as he has been for the last 3 National rallies. If you are a fan of music that spans seveal genres, rock, country, blues, bluegrass along with a touch of humor, check this guy out.

The coolest bike I saw was at the local Bike Night at Quaker Steak & Lube, a Confederate Wraith. What a piece carbon fiber and billet motorcycle jewelery!

    Great time...

I just grabbed some camping gear, heck with mounting the top case, and off I went...

The new Duc' did great and with tunes in the helmet and the occasional stop to wet down the mesh for the cooling effect, all was good from VT to PA

I haven't been as pervasively sweat and disgusting as I was at the MOA Rally in a good long time.

    :lol3

    It was still fun.

I honestly don't think I took a single photo. :huh

I'm sure it'll be WAY better in central Missouri next year.. :huh

You know it's bad when I plan on skipping the BMW National Rally because it'll be cooler inside a paper mill...:lol3

My thoughts exactly. Maybe if no one shows up, the MOA will get the message loud and clear.

PS Jim, it was good bumping into you in the vendor area. Hope you sold lots of dvd's.

    Thanks, you too!

We sold a few, but the real reason I was there was to support CycleNutz! Great guy Tony.

Plus, that way the company paid for the trip! :lol3
