Few months back when I was looking, riding a demo T7 and kicking tyres, the KTM dealer Sutto's at Penrith NSW had one on consignment with just 2000km's on it for $21,000 IIRC...

It was far from mint, with rusty spokes, bolt heads, the exhaust, with stock cans, std soft rims and no good aftermarket bits. Even the dealer said it would be a "good one for restoration".

    Don't know if it sold.

    Cheers John

Accidentally bought a 525 yesty, very nice example with goodies and bling. Always liked them, getting to be a bit of a classic, bloody good motor. Mate had 3 and rang me out of the blue with a price, I told him it was too low but he wants to see me take Sprog out in the bush on her recently purchased TXC250, my Husky has died and parts? Well, let’s just say I’ve gone and tracked down the Tasmanian Tiger as that was an easier task.

Sprog has been watching your exploits on the tube of you @ToriMish, seems you have a fan and she has a role model. She now swears nearly as much as you too. Life’s goals. :)

I need to get another video out soon. I've been really, really slack on the video edits; but at least I've been riding more than ever.

We're well up here Aaron. We're relatively unaffected by the new abnormal, and the roads (dirt or tar) have never been so quiet. Good times!

I thought this was as good as anywhere to ask this question.
Anyone else had experience with bikesales?
Trying to expedite the sale of my MT-10 so I payed up $75 and put it on Bikesales looking for a bigger audience.
So in less than 12 hrs I have had two inquires, both come as a text, first one from "Bikesales" no phone number, my name is Lindsay is this bike still available blah blah email me lindsay@#$%.
Second one from "Wayne" again no number, no reply, this is Wayne is this bike available, email me wayne****@1/1/.
So are these scam messages, what's their angle, what do they hope to achieve?

They are indeed scam messages and something Bikesales really needs to be aware of because every time I have advertised I have received the same messages within a short time.

They are aware of it apparently... https://help.bikesales.com.au/hc/en-gb/sections/202856966-Scams-to-look-out-for

My understanding of the scam is that they will want all communications to be via email and payments via Paypal. The scam happens when they send you a receipt to your Paypal account showing they have overpaid for the item and will ask you to refund them the overpaid amount.

    Just ignore them.
