You forgot to add, it sounds mental...
Custom parts would be the fork stickers and the bar spongy thing to hit your head on when you realise what a heap of shit it is.

I’m still trying to reconcile how you’d not notice the bloody cam cover is missing. Or why you’d start the thing without it.

Went to local bike shops to trade my '17 690 Duke R on something new. Got a good price and signed up for a new SpeedTriple RS. Salesman was on the phone 2 mins after and sold the 690. He was very happy so must have made his usual margin. He then said single cylinder bikes sell almost straight away as long as they are under $10k.

Getting the feeling that the market might be cooling off a bit now ...

The frenzy (incl. the crazy prices) has had a wider range than just bikes - caravans, horse gear, all sorts of stuff ...

Yep, great to see all those smart money managers put their super to good use. They'll be so happy in their retirement.

Ya reckon Hootsy? What I’m seeing is the good stuff has been bought and sold, out comes the shitfighters that blokes have been “gunna rebuild it” for the last 5 years and now think they have a barn-find resto worth drug money. Or at least they can sell it and square up their drug debt. This was a $1200 bike start of the year, I’m tipping the cams are shot and the head has sucked the valves in, probably a buggered stator as well. $2k rebuild if you are lucky.

Should start a “fuckwits of Facebook” thread similar to the Yanks “craigslist shitheads” one. This popped up today, ad is from the States.

There are currently 39 WR450Fs on Gumtree ...

That's getting back toward normal volume ...

A 2020 model with 430km on the clock is going for $13K, which is a bit steep but not outrageous ...

Further to the other concerns expressed, he is wearing socks and slides. I'll have to stop doing that now.

If that boot had gripped, I reckon it would have left a boot print on the back of his helmet as his leg went back. :lol3

perfect technique actually, he just didn’t lift his foot high enough.
I got a harley too, if you push hard you just lift the feet forward and off the pegs.
Mines raised an inch but still touches down.
I’m on my 3rd exhaust as well. Push too hard and the frame grinds.

Push too hard off camber and the brake pivot grinds and can come on.
    That’s not fun.
On my GSA only my boots touch down very rarely.
Hasn’t happened on my DR since I raised it with new suspension.
Harleys can squat under hard acceleration out of corners as well if not set up right.
That doesn’t do them any favours either. I just keep adding weld.. :lol3
