Oh darn - you'll have to ride them again!
Took the Grom up near Green Bay via Jeep and then cruised around hitting RR 8, 24, 40, and 61. Which leaves just 6 more for 100 total ridden. Now to plan a weekend to get a bunch, most left in the northwest.
My buddy Shoelester and I logged 17 RR's this past weekend. All were in the Northeastern and Southeaster regions. Great weather for it! Can't wait to go get more.
Got a couple today that wernt too far outta the way.
Fun to see the ST1100 in action, love that bike!
Been working on these for 8 or 9 years. Did allot the first year, then slacked off. Sat at about 80 complete for a few years. Got back into it 2 weeks ago to get er done. At 98 now. Figure I can complete the remaining in 4 loops(2 are complete). Did a run to Potosi 2 weeks ago and Mercer this weekend
That's a quite nice area of the state.
Hitting some rusties just makes it better.
Go divotdm, go!
Still plenty of stickers left and I’m itching to send time off to worthy riders.
Collected 3 more this weekend putting me at 110 total. Note Rustic Road 100 has no sign at north end. A three to four day ride to finish up them up is in the works including the Door Co. 119 road.
Good reminder to throw in the obligatory notepad for those that are lacking signage.
But I would need the arm of a mannequin to hold it as I normally travel these alone.
Or maybe the whole mannequin...
100th Rustic Road!!!
Sweet bike to have accomplished that on. Congrats!
Hoping to get out after some soon myself. Life has been getting in the way of riding much.
Ding, ding, ding...we have a winner! Shoot me your info I have a sticker for you.
Who is going to be next?
This thread isn’t dead yet for 2019! I will post the rest of my pics tomorrow.
I finished up the southwest region on Thursday and Friday. It was cold and windy, but I enjoyed the riding. There is some nice country and some pretty isolated areas in the that part of the state.
RR 66 This was the best I could do as I did not find a sign with the number on it.
Well played sir..... well played.
Cool bike too.
I rode 121 yesterday! I looked and it's not even on the Wisconsin site yet! I'll post a pic later.
What part of the state is 121 in?
Cool - that’s staying on top of the new roads. Once I know where it is I’ll add 121 to the GPX file.
ok, here are the details on RR 121:
it is in the Southwest part of the state, just North of Elroy.
it is called Lee Road, and it runs between Hwy 80 and Cty S.
We rode it both ways and it is a really fun road. Lots of twists, turns, and a great hill.
