I racked up six more Northwest Quadrant Rusties today. We rode a little gravel, but no water crossings. Pictures to follow.

These are the three Rustic Roads we were on last Sunday afternoon.
    RR 122.JPG
    RR 122 in Pepin County
    RR 51.JPG
RR 51 Pierce County. This is the one that currently has four water crossings on the portion noted as "winding trail" when riding from the east.
    RR 92.JPG
RR 92 in Pierce County. The road had no sign at all except this one where it intersects with US 35.

On Monday we left Hudson and rode six Rustic Roads roughly between Hudson and Eau Claire. RR 45 is about 20 miles southeast of Eau Claire.
    RR 13.JPG
This is RR 13. We rode it north to south and only the south end has a number sign.
    RR 116.JPG
A little navigation error caused to ride a few extra miles. There was a helpful little "Rustic Road this way" sign in Boardman, the ones with the arrows, or we may have missed it altogether.
    RR 3.JPG
    RR 3
    RR 4.JPG
RR 4. These two run together south of Glenwood City. Number 4 is gravel, but easy to ride. It led north into the little town of Downing. The old store on 170 is worth a stop.

These are the last two that we rode on our trip. We put on about 830 miles and were very lucky as far as weather. This completes a Rustic Road Century for me as I have ridden 100 of the current Rustic Roads. I will take the opportunity to ride more if I am near them and will keep an eye out for any new designations within a day's ride. I started riding and recording my riding of these roads in 2012 after I got my first GSA. It gave my riding a purpose and I spent a few enjoyable in order to get near quite a few of them. I enjoyed the mapping and the challenge of finding them in the nooks and crannies all over Wisconsin. I saw more little towns and abandoned farm houses than I ever would have if I had not started on this. It has been an excellent motorcycling experience. Ride safe.

Some folks and I rode all 105 (at the time) RR in a summer. Over 5K miles in the State. May have to go get all the new ones.

That must have taken a lot of navigatin' along with all the miles on the road. I found myself backtracking sometimes as I had not done the best map recon before heading out. The NAV VI I have had the last year or so helps a lot as I can tell when I am getting near the roads I need to get to the RRs.

My WR is back in MN after residing in the desert. Time to grab some rustic roads.

First up, RR 51. Despite the bucolic setting, there were four(?) creek crossings. I was happy to be on the 250. A rider ahead of me had gone down in the loose gravel at the bottom of the first crossing. Another vehicle had stopped and helped him get the bike up before I came through. I just got wet boots from duck-walking across. I hung around at the end to make sure he made it out.

Many thanks to @propforward for the gpx file! Finish one road, set the GPS to navigate to the next one, RR 122.

A perfect day and really good road, on to the next one! RR 107.

My brother and I rode RR 51 this spring on our 1200 and 1250 GSAs. There were four water crossings then and we rode through them without incident. I thought they may be dried up in the summer, but I guess not.

This is me white knuckling it across the first water crossing on RR 51 coming from the east in May 2021.

Awesome weather yesterday so I headed out in search of more Rustic Roads.

    First up, RR-103:
    IMG_20210813_135350516.jpg

Then on to RR-101--missing the number on the sign. This one is all paved and was a blast on the 250--a bit of a roller coaster:

Last one of the day, RR-93:

Took the Versys out today to pick up RR-92. A little convoluted to get there because WI Highway 35 is closed between Prescott and River Falls. So basically rode this from the "end" to the "start", then back again--double the fun!

The state added Rustic Road 123 recently and I rode it today. This will be the last one for me this year. D2AF8774-1F51-42EC-B845-02E889552143.jpeg

Living in River Falls and working in MN, the WI-35 road closure has forced me to seek unofficial detours, some of which include RR-92. Hope you didn't run into too much fresh chipseal; seems they're doing the entire county this summer.

    Nice!

I had just found this sign on my normal pedal bike ride route last week, and it reminded me of this thread.

I saw a couple of bicyclists on the roads around there. It looks like a nice place to ride, other than that the roads are narrow.
