Hi peeps, what you using. Pivot pegs or fastways are the favourites at the moment. Happy for advice from users of these or recommendation of others.

I like my Fastways because not only are they wider but you can mount them a little lower too. pk

anytime! Most popular choices are fastway and pivot pegs. I use Swmotech.

I don't think the pivot action is needed on the pivot pegs. (yes that is what I have on my bike)

I have a set from Black Dog and they are really nice. It is one of the best accessories I've put on the bike. Once you have them you won't go back to the stock narrow ones on any bike.

I went with the Black Dog pegs as well. They are huge. It's trickier to get the sidestand down because you can no longer catch it with your heel and clear the foot peg with your leg (I have to use my toe). Otherwise they're awesome!

hmmmÂ… I like my Pivot Pegs and like the action when standing. Seems to help me with shifting and braking.

Keep in mind if you are a shortie (in inseam) and have wider footpegs you might have trouble getting your boot around the peg to deploy the side stand in certain situations. :deal

I had to ask my buddy who is good with the welder to add a bit extra to the side stand "loop".

I purchased and fitted the wide GSA footpegs to my GS - they fit perfectly out of the box (obviously) and work great.

My bike came with precision engineering 2" drop pegs. I like them a lot, even though I'm only 5'10" they work wonders for ergonomics.
