    Hi guys

I know a lot of parts between the 800 and the 650 are interchangeable, but I am not sure as to the hand guards. Some say yes, some say no.

I have the 650 twin and have spotted a good deal on what look like Oem hand guards.
They are listed for the 800. I wanted to check here to see if they would indeed work.

    Thanks for the help

just checked, part numbers are different. if they fit it shouldn't be a straight fit.

I fitted my 700 touratech hand guards to my 800. The difference was the 700 straight bars to the 800 tapered bars, the clamp just fitted to the thicker bar down on the bend, no difference at the bar weight end. So based on that the clamps at bend may be a bit big on your 650 but nothing that shouldn't either tighten up or even add a bit of rubber around the bar to thicken it up a touch.

Pre '13 bikes use the same guards. I have a pile of them. I put 800 bars on the 650 and kept the guards.

13+ bikes won't fit earlier bikes tho. Bar redesign.
