Windscreen Tint

    I have a buddy that owns a tint shop. I had mentioned to him that I wanted to buy the tinted version of the windscreen or at least paint mine darker. He came up with this solution... Put tinted Clearbra on it!

    Looks great. Did you apply it to both sides, or just the inside?

    Just the front (outside), as the material was made to weather the storm... and it will probably deflect wind a little better on the outside and it was easier to install this way. :thumb

    That looks great! However, if a guy doesn't have a friend who owns a tint shop, where do you get the stuff and how do you apply it?

    I was wondering the same thing. Where do I find this stuff? Seems like a guy could tint his own visors in a pinch, too.:evil

    I would bet most tint shops would have it in stock. It has adhesive on one side and it goes on wet. Pretty quick and easy. Exacto around the edges and voilĂ ! This stuff was made by 3M. Automotive tinted body film.

    My buddy showed up with these. He said the were for my refrigerator. I don't know if ment my GS now that I think about it. :huh
