Ok fine, I confess, I messed up.

A couple weeks back, Mrs 5 went to PDX for a convention, as she got on the plane, she left me with the stern admonition-"See to it that the weather is sunny and 70 degrees. :grim "

So after much searcxhing, I did find the weather handle, however, it is not marked, so I pushed......and pushed.....it was a bit rusty, and the handle got stuck. In the process of working it loose, I broke the handle off. I'm doing what I can with vise grips and pbblast, but my best guess it that I pushed the handle the wrong way. My bad. I'll get back to work on it ASAP but it's been really busy at the office lately so no promises. :dunno

    WTF is going on?

I rode the entire road system above the valley and to hatcher pass, yesterday. Must have been the summer I was waiting for....Back to another 12 months of winter?

    Thanks alot Chris!!!!!!

Sure glad 5 lives down there with all you unlucky riders-in-waiting. His sloppy handle handling doesn't reach this far. Met about 6 northbound vehicles in 20 miles that were plastered with snow. Bet they were glad to get to our bone dry roads. :D

(But maybe I'd better not talk too soon...:uhoh )

Sheeeitzam, the weekend was all planned out, Bike ready, I'm ready. I got a reprieve from work, and returned from exile early on Thursday, but decided to take the cage in for service, and put off riding to the weekend...again. Now look what happened? Next time the cage service waits.:1drink

I was getting pretty excited. Global warming was supposed to make Alaska warm. All we needed to do is figure out how to make it light during the winter.:rofl But noooo, winter will not give up. Winter will not go away. I'm pretty sure that this is how an ICE AGE starts.:becca

Go ahead and go out for a ride. I found a lot of dry roads over the past few days. Also happened across GSLad, another local adv rider on todays ride, nice to meet you Larry.
