winter cleanup

    So, I figure it's to tear apart the old 525 and do some maitenance work. So far I got frontend pulled apart. Grease the steering head bearings, check all connections, reroute all wires to be in the proper place, clean all the scum off everything. So far all looks good. New grips, gonna have matching bark busters, everything polished, all aluminum polished with a wire wheel, check wheel bearings. Now it's time to put it back together and start on the rear.

    Just wanted to remind everone to grease those steering head bearings once in while, we do go out in all kinds of wheather.

    I quit riding at the balmy temp of about 33 degrees

    So are you going to have it ready for Keithsburg on Sunday? Or maybe the 950 would be a better choice for a sandy hare scramble? See you on the starting line...:ear
