Meanwhile in Norway... ️

Rally Knuten yesterday, 9km uphill gravel road. Officially not a race but try telling this to 57 guys on everything from vintage enduro bikes, HD, R1, mopeds and sidecars. Me filming from my KTM450...but this is 10min from my house so can go up here anytime.

Haha, that road must be awesome anytime of the year.

That's awesome. Do the road bikes have any special tires? I imagine it's dicey on anything without studs, no?

And at 2:23 the sidecar rider no longer notices the cold.
Would be fun to get a tail view of the chopper. No bar mitts, hand/lever guards, windshield, face mask, scarf!

Separate class for non studded tyres but need (good) knobbies. Believe all the road bikes have studs, below buddy on R1 doing the first stage (the sidecar is stage 2 of the 9k). He first bought TKC80 and planned to ride with that but in the last minute bought studs that you screw into the tyre. Those guys passing us in video below have 8mm studs (as do I).

The R1 rider rode his bike all stock as well (bar the studded tyres)...think he was happy I was riding behind him with plenty of light (Picture quality gets worse due to moist air freezing on lens...and goggles)
