Great Bike! Trophy 1200 SE. Had one and really enjoyed it.
Even the weekend before memorial weekend is iffy in Colorado. I've been through there during that time on 4 different trips (2203, 2004, 2007 and 2011). I have never been able to ride to Mt. Evans because it has always been snowed in when I went.
That was a BMW K1200GT. I really liked it but it was just two years and old showing 54,000 miles on the clock when the oil pump chain broke. The motor didn't seize but it was toast. The replacement motor was a mere $12,000 and that's all the bike was worth with those miles. Total loss. BMW didn't help but my dealer really stepped up. I've been on GSAs.
North Central-ish WV
Hwy 120 heading west into Yosemite NP, 71° today.
9 C and sunny in Calgary.
Somewhere in the Sierras.
Winter in AZ.
So Cal snow - in the background anyway. None left at 5,000 ft on Saddleback although we do get some down to 2,000 ft when a good Winter storm blows through. Yamaha photos from Saturday a balmy 60 at the summit. You can see snow on the mountains in the background. Still holding and getting more snow above 7,000 ft. Bicycle photo from 2013 view 180 degrees from MC shot looking down Harding Truck Trail - hiking / bicycles only.
Central Iowa Saturday. Was 38-40F but lots of sun.
Camden and Rockport Maine this afternoon.

End of the road for me today, at 3000' elevation on Mt. St. Helens.
I don't mind icy patches, but when the road is a skating rink, I'm out.
