Just another beautiful 70 degree day riding our dirt bikes up in the so-cal mountains last saturday, and my buddy let me ride his XR400 for a bit.. Great bike
End of the road for me today, at 3000' elevation on Mt. St. Helens.
I don't mind icy patches, but when the road is a skating rink, I'm out.
Some winter camping in Arizona. I had to shovel a bunch of sunshine to get to this spot
MA -February 3 2020- 38 degrees F.
It's too cold to sit on a moto like a lump, and too slippery, but when putting out wattage, a few mm of technical fabric and a windbreaker is enough. This is a great cure for the winter riding blues...
Didn't the Donners have a party somewhere around there?
Yeah, I think it was a dinner party.
Quick rip to get some take out. -4C.
The other day it hit 60º - today looks like six inches of snow.
My property, 55 degrees and sunny, super bowl Sunday.
Up hill off camber log put me down twice that day!
To whom does the better bike belong?
My home town, Silverton. Do you live in that area?
No, sir, but sure do enjoy that area. I was sitting in a restaurant/bar in Silverton on that trip and met the gent who owns that former US Army half-track. He was a first-class character and I enjoyed the conversation. You've a great home town!
That was not the bike I was referring to, but O.K.
little snow squal from early november
Winter in the south east just means the leaves fall off the trees and no bug guts on your helmet for a couple months.
fast forward to January... fist year with studded tires and they are a blast!
