nice to know Joe got a little action that night, too bad the dog ain't asian..
Joe sure looks happy....
Even though there was limited riding during the TJDDDWAAANSMIASMJNACAMWR, I think it was a huge success. All the veteran Advriders, the rookie Advriders, the Noob Advriders, Duncan the Advdog, and Jacob the Advkid seemed to have a great time.
Everyone at work said we were nuts for going out camping in the middle of January, but if that makes me crazy then lock me up and throw away the key cause I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
Thanks to all for a great weekend!
Who's ready for the spring ride?
I'm practicing right now.
You all are amazing! Sorry I couldn't be there. I promise to make some riding time in the coming weeks!
Doesn't Fist have a dog with the same name?
So I am at the college of pharmacy last thursday, and my buddy joe says "Hey, Im going camping and dirtbiking this weekend, you want to come?" My reply was, "Well, Ive never been on a bike before, but I think I would be stupid not to." Next thing I know I am loading up the DR 350 into the back of and $800 pickup to head downstate. I get there and have a blast till 5 in the morning. Wake up in a sleeping bag next to the campfire 3 hours later, covered in snow, but still warm, and still drunk. I wait a few hours for the hangover to wear off. Then I figure it's time to give this thing a try. Hop on the bike and take off, almost like I knew what I was doing. Then I figure out that if you push left on the handlebars, you go left, which helped. Next thing I know im powersliding around, topping out 3rd in a snow covered field. Then I decided to try and climb a hill. That didnt go so well and I ended up with a flat in the front. I have to say this was one hell of a time, and I cant wait to get enough $ together to buy that bike off of joe. Hopefully by spring I will have some on road experience and I will be able to see what this whole dualsport thing is really about. Thanks for a hell of a weekend chain.
Tell the truth, that hill was pretty nasty, rutted and slick. I give you credit for even attempting it on your first time out.
Welcome to the asylum! It only takes 1 outing like that to get you hooked. Now you have to start accumulating gear.
Glad to have you along. Hope you had a good time.
slyvia is gonna be there next time too, right?

We owe that girl big time.
