Are those pics from last year or is your camera set wrong? I'm in Palmer if you want to grab a coffee or something this weekend.

You'll have to ask Bob(Alaskahack) about that one. I finished my testing for APD today, anyone have any other leads for jobs in AK? I feel good about APD but I'd like to take advantage of my time while I'm here and interview for as many jobs as possible.

This happened this afternoon i've tried to reset it a couple of times and just gave up.

I'm up for coffee give me a day and time.

He is going back to Whitehorse next week, he's toured Alaska 2 summers ago, and felt a need to do it in the winter.

I think he's going down to lower 48 for a while.

Hey, PeestonPants! I gottta say that of all the ‘winter riding’ stuff I’ve seen here, with the possiblee exception of Mr. Big Wheels’, yours always looks like the most fun to me. :thumb

Thanks Tom! I got tremendous respect for all those guys braving the elements on their steeds. We all just do the best we can. If the asphalt jungle of Anchorage/the Valley is what you got at the end of your driveway, then that's what you ride. I just happen to have really sick sh*t at the end of my driveway. No Starbucks stops on my rides. My taste in adventure also has me riding alone most times. You flatter me by putting me in the same league with Mr. BigWheel.

    Peace,
    Piston

Hi guys, I am in Eureka on my way to Anchorage. Riding around 300-500 miles a day and I have no heated gear. What would it be like to ride in Anchorage in 1 or 2 weeks?
