It looks so nice! I should have bought it. There maybe a 690 Hard Enduro in my future to replace the 625, which I love! But first, I need to see how the 530 works out. I ordered one.

Hi Jay, Congrats on the new ride. Very nice. If you let me ride it I'll be your best friend.:evil Still not sure if i can make it or not. It may come down to the very last minute. Could you shoot me over the directions just in case to refresh my memory. I'll see what I can do to try to get out of my obligations. Hope to see you there. Ernie

MT 21's are a good choice for an LC4.

shawn, do you have the dellorto or the mikuni on your bike? mine did that once and it was a combination of things, check the decompressionn cable on the top right side of the head and valve clearance, the valves are awesome because they are tappets,so no stupid shims, takes about 10 min.

It has the Mikuni. I checked the valves they were way loose. On a hunch I disconnected the decomp cable. Still the same.(It will backfire thought the carb then when it starts it will run lean). I suspect a Vacuum leak of some sort so, I ordered 2 new pilot jets, spigot mount, oring kit for the carb, and a clutch cable. (Not starting related but it has a melted spot in it):lol3

i had a 41mm kehin carb on mine for awhile and if you gave it any gas on start up it would spit it right off the intake, i used to saftey wire it on but it ran like a bat outta hell. sounds like your on the right track with all the things you checked so far.. i ended up parting mine out. i let a friend use the motor for a flattrack project and the front end is going on the klr. so the rest of it is in a pile in the garage. if you need anything let me know.

I think I'm dying. Well not really, but I've never had the flu like this before. I'm not even comfortable driving the truck right now, much less that fat pig of a bike. Unless a miracle happens in the next 36 hours, I think I'm out. Sorry guys, I really looked forward to riding with you again.
