The sensation one incurs when that tube is briskly withdrawn is inexplainably excruciating!
It's ok now though. I'm a mostly whole body without any extra *farkles*.
Looking forward to going home tomorrow.
I'll be riding too fast before ya know it!
Great news!! I'll give you a call later!
Due to complications... I'm still sporting a gown.
Yesterday, fever, no energy, x-rays showed partially collapsed lung.
Today, feel fine, walked three miles (in 140 yd lps), x-rays show fluid buildup in chest cavity, doc says it may be infection, if so they will have to drain and maybe put chest tube back in for a few days.
UHGG!! That sucks!
Got any good looking nurses up there?
All of my nurses qualify as antique medical equipment.
OH Sh#t Jay! I just got back from Japan. It sounds like you got yourself twisted up good.
I wish you a speedy recovery.
This sounds like the flight attendants I had on my crew.
At least we will know you won't be hanging around to look at the honeys.
Hey Jay, Sorry to hear about the complications. Sometimes they are harder to fight off than the original problem. A toast to your good health. Get well soon. Ernie
Just got off the phone with Jay. He has a test tomorrow that will decide whether he is getting out or getting a tube put back in. If he gets the tube back, he may still be released to have it removed later in the week.
Said he put on a ton of miles walking today. He was on a marathon I think so he must be feeling pretty good (all things considered).
Experienced Jay, experienced.
Hang in there buddy!
Damn bro. Im sorry to read about this. Get well soon.
How did this happen anyway?
I must be getting out today. My nurse last night was SMOKING hot!
OMG, he's hallucinating and slipping away. Don't stare at the bright white light at the end of the tunnel Jay!
Sorry to hear about the incident Jay! Glad to hear you're doing better though!
Great news! I assume you will stay with your dad for a bit - then BACK HOME!
I hope you recover from your injuries soon. I wanted to make the ride this year but had too much other shit going on. Of course, after reading the injury list, I'm kind of glad I didn't make it.
