Will they have kool aid?
It must be the accent Stuart. You just sound smarter.
If only you talked in your sleep like OU812 did at the Guzzi Rally. I would love to hear you say what he did:"Make it so Number one!"
They are spread out, and if the weather is cooler, some stay in their rooms, and some are riding or in the Waterpark. It's not so bad.
The camping is spread out between the field right next to the beer tent, and the camping area just south of that.
I have a picture somewhere. Hold on. I am downloading Basecamp btw, Thanks.
Good stuff. Mostly I order number one to go and take a number two.
Can I camp in the beer tent? The rally is sounding better and better all the time.
24 hour beverage tent with coffee, Hot water, and fixings for hot chocolate, lemonade, and ice water
They usually also have Beemer broth (soup) on Friday evenings at the beer tent.
Kool aide may be available if BMWNA is there, but most of us have already drank it (nod to freeflow)
That's where I was going with it.........
You can, but it gets noisy at night from the band There are also so many folks with rooms, that getting a morning shower in is fairly easy, and they have showers in the indoor waterpark as well. It has changed from what it used to be (I miss the bike field events, they are now non-bike because of insurance and nobody wanting to dribble their new, fancy, expensive Beemers.) but it still can be very fun.
Found the pic, the beer tent is the big white one in the back, with the field on the right. The smaller tent is the beverage tent, and beyond those trees on the right is the quiet camping. It's very nice with roads at both ends of the field to enter it. The corner of the indoor waterpark is just showing on the left.
I'm riding the Triumph, but there'll be 3 BMW's in the garage at home.. I make up for the 3 BMW's by owning a KLR, too.
I figured as much, but I still saw the opportunity for a shameless plug.
The weather can be very hot to cool. I don't think it's been below 50 much at night, but I suppose it can.
If it is really hot, they open the outdoor waterpark as well, and that has some slides that will push your swimsuit up to your neck. It's great fun to watch girls in bikinis try and get out of the slide afterward.
Drunken Mini Golf can also be fun as well.
We don't expose ourselves in such a manner. But watching girls in Bikinis I can do.
With all this research, what can possibly go wrong?
Registration for the rally is usually in the part of the hotel facing that, along with Condo check in and some rooms. There is another lobby further North and down one level, that is room check in only also.
4 places to eat on site, a quick food one in the waterpark and the North Lobby(sandwiches and Ice cream), The Chop house, and you can order stuff at the bar. There are also shops inside the Resort. There are plenty of places to eat and shops, in the Dells as well. Tommy BartletsRobot world, The Dells Ducks, Go karts, and many other things are still open as well, not to mention Natural sites.
Wow. Pretty fancy eh?
There is a tunnel from the hotel to the waterpark under that parking lot, and a big game room inside as well.
Drunken arcade games can also be a sport.
A freakin' tunnel?
This gets better.
Plus this thing is happening locally. I am planning on some riding around the area during the day, might stop in here:
That is cool Stuart. If I go on the R50, I could do that, if the weather is nice, with proper planning.
I never know.....
That really isn't fair to the rest of us, is it?
Big ol' air hockey game down there gets hit pretty hard during this rally when it's hot out..
The plan is to take the R50, that plan may blow up in my face at any time.
Next will be the /7.
propforward, I must ask. A few weeks ago, you went to a rally at a campground, and stayed in a hotel. Now you are planning on attending a rally at a Hotel, yet you are staying at a campground?
Why must you confuse me so?
It is the way of things Roy. I am somewhat contrary in my nature. I hope that someone, somewhere, is just a little bit irritated by my actions, in general.
It's also why I will be taking a Triumph to the BMW rally.
